Range Repair
Wolf dual-fuel and all-gas ranges are the centrepiece of most Lexington kitchen renovations. Burners that will not light, ovens drifting off temperature, failed igniters and spark modules, and control faults that leave either the top or the cavity dead are the standing work.

On the phone
What people describe
- One burner lighting while the rest only click
- Flame dropping out when the knob is turned down
- Oven cavity reading far off its set point
- Griddle or charbroiler heating unevenly across the surface
On the visit
What gets measured
- Manifold pressure at the regulator, cold and then under load
- Spark module output and flame-sense return, burner by burner
- Oven igniter draw in amps — the number that decides whether it still opens the valve
- Low-flame screw and simmer behaviour on each sealed burner
A quote written before those numbers exist is a guess with a price attached to it.

- $250$1,020
- Oven thermostat or sensor calibration
- $140$700

Flat $95 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
A comparable new appliance is $6,900 to $17,760 for the unit alone — no delivery, no installation, no cabinetry. That gap is why most of the bands above are still the cheaper answer.

One burner lit and the other five just clicked at me. He found the spark module had failed and had one on the van. All six light first time now, and he cleaned the caps up while he was at it.

Post war ranch off Springs Road, open plan kitchen. The dual fuel range lost the entire cooktop while the cavity stayed fine. A failed transformer feeding the spark board. Replaced, and he tested every position.

The flame kept dropping out whenever I turned the knob down. Worn thermocouple on that position plus a valve that wanted setting. He did both, then held it on the lowest setting for several minutes to prove it.
